The switchgear accommodates two photovoltaic (PV) strings and is compatible with two Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) inputs, enhancing the efficiency of solar energy systems by optimizing the power output from PV panels. On the alternating current (AC) side, it includes a Noark type 2 SPD, which similarly protects AC circuits from surge events.

Additionally, the switchgear is fitted with a 20A 3-phase circuit breaker that allows for safe and controlled distribution of electrical power across three-phase electrical systems. It also incorporates a Residual Current Device (RCD) type A with a 40A/300mA rating, which monitors for any imbalance between live conductors and instantly breaks the circuit in the event of earth leakage, thereby preventing electric shock hazards and fire risks.
