Constructed to ensure robust protection and control for photovoltaic systems, the em-202n_dcac switchgear is designed with an IP65-rated enclosure, providing a high level of protection against dust ingress and water jets from any direction. The unit features a Surge Protection Device (SPD) on the DC side, specifically a Noark 1000V type 2, which is engineered to safeguard electrical equipment from voltage spikes. It accommodates 1 x PV string and 1 x MPPT, optimizing the conversion of solar energy for efficient system performance.

Additionally, the switchgear includes an SPD on the AC side, also from Noark but as a type 2 device, which further enhances the safety of the system by mitigating transient overvoltage. The AC circuit is equipped with a 20A single-phase breaker that ensures circuit integrity and facilitates current distribution. To augment user safety, it incorporates a Residual Current Device (RCD) with a sensitivity of 100mA, designed to detect and interrupt circuit imbalances that could lead to electric shock or fire hazards.

The em-202n_dcac switchgear is tailored to provide comprehensive electrical protection while maintaining operational efficiency in photovoltaic installations.
