Constructed to ensure robust electrical circuit management and safety, the unit features an IP65-rated enclosure, providing a high level of protection against dust and water ingress, making it suitable for a variety of challenging environments. The switchgear is equipped with a Noark 1000V type 2 Surge Protection Device (SPD) on the DC side, designed to safeguard against transient overvoltage, thereby extending the lifespan of connected photovoltaic (PV) system components.

Accommodating 2 PV strings and compatible with 2 Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) inputs, the switchgear enhances the efficiency of solar energy systems by optimizing the power output from PV panels under varying sunlight conditions. Additionally, an AC Noark type 2 SPD is integrated to protect against surges on the AC side, further ensuring the operational integrity of the electrical installation.

The switchgear also includes a 16A 1-phase circuit breaker, which provides overcurrent protection, minimizing the risk of damage to electrical circuits and connected devices due to excessive current flow. The emiter EM-1356N_DCAC model is engineered to facilitate streamlined energy management and protection for solar energy systems.
